The main function of a pressure regulator is to match the flow of gas through the regulator to the demand for gas placed upon it, while maintaining a constant output pressure. If the load flow decreases, the regulator flow must also decrease. Conversely, if the load flow increases, the regulator flow must increase to prevent the controlled pressure from decreasing due to a shortage of gas in the pressure system.

The high-pressure gas from the supply enters the regulator through the inlet valve. The gas then enters the body of the regulator, which is controlled by the needle valve. As the pressure rises, it pushes the diaphragm, closing the inlet valve to which it is attached, and preventing any more gas from entering the regulator. The outlet side is fitted with a pressure gauge.

When gas is drawn from the outlet side, the pressure inside the regulator body falls. The diaphragm is pushed back by the spring, and the valve opens, allowing more gas to enter from the supply until equilibrium is reached between the outlet pressure and the spring. The outlet pressure, therefore, depends on the spring force, which can be adjusted by means of an adjustment knob.

This HEAVY DUTY 3/4" FEMALE NPT IN LINE COMPRESSED AIR PRESSURE REGULATOR has an impressive range of features. It can handle a MAX INPUT PRESSURE of 250 PSI and a MAX OUTPUT PRESSURE of 215 PSI. The WALL MOUNTING BRACKET & GAUGE are included, making it easy to install and monitor the pressure.

The regulator is ADJUSTABLE FROM 7 PSI TO 215 PSI, with a FLOW RATE of 140 SCFM, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The HIGH IMPACT LOCKING COMPOSITE KNOB ensures that the settings remain secure, even in demanding environments.

The 3/4" NPT OUTSIDE THREAD DIAMETER has a LINEAR measurement of 1.05 inches, providing a compact and efficient design.
